Problems of budget formation in Kuzbass during the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945)

The article analyzes the specifics of the functioning of the financial system of Kuzbass during the Great Patriotic War. Based on archival data, the conditions for planning the regional budget are considered, initially within the borders of Novosibirsk, and after 26 January 1943 – within the borders of the newly formed Kemerovo region. A comparative analysis of the economic development of Kuzbass with other regions of the country allocated during wartime is carried out.

Moscow architects during the Great Patriotic War

The aim of the research is to study the creative achievements of Moscow architects during the Great Patriotic War. Moscow architects made an invaluable contribution to military-defense construction, the construction of numerous evacuated and new industrial enterprises in the east of the country, and the restoration of cities destroyed by the war. 

The problems of organizing the educational process in the universities of Voroshilovgrad region after liberation from the Nazi invaders

The article identifies and analyzes the problems of organizing the educational process in the higher educational institutions of Voroshilovgrad region in 1943–1945. It is noted that, the higher educational institutions of the region were evacuated and began to establish the educational work, which was complicated by the low pace of restoration of the material and technical base, the involvement of students in production and mobilization for various jobs, and the transformation of curricula.

The third University History Faculty of the country

The editorial board of the journal in this article refers to an important event in the history of Saratov University – the 90th anniversary of the opening of the Faculty of History, which became the third Faculty of History in the RSFSR. The circumstances of the establishment of the faculty, the beginning and main stages of its activity are considered. The contribution to the training of specialists with higher historical education, the most important scientific achievements and the role of leading scientists are shown.

Fedorova, devoted to the description of the life, research and teaching activities of professor I. M. Ionenko. The authors of reviewed book, former students and graduate students of Ionenko talk about his formation as a historian, his achievements as a historian and social activities.

Московские архитекторы в период Великой Отечественной войны

Цель исследования заключается в изучении творческих достижений московских архитекторов в годы Великой Отечественной войны. Московские архитекторы внесли бесценный вклад в военно-оборонном строительстве, строительстве многочисленных эвакуированных и новых промышленных предприятий на Востоке в годы Великой Отечественной войны, восстановлении разрушенных войной городов.

Проблемы организации учебного процесса в вузах Ворошиловградщины после освобождения от немецко-фашистских захватчиков

В статье выявляются и анализируются проблемы организации учебного процесса в вузах Ворошиловградщины в 1943–1945 гг. Отмечается, что высшие учебные заведения области были реэвакуированы и приступили к налаживанию учебной работы, которая осложнялась медленным восстановлением материально-технической базы, задействованностью студентов на производстве и мобилизацией на различные работы, а также трансформацией учебных планов.

Проблемы формирования бюджета Кузбасса в годы Великой Отечественной войны (1941–1945)

В статье анализируется специфика функционирования финансовой системы Кузбасса в годы Великой Отечественной войны. На основе архивных данных рассматриваются условия планирования бюджета региона первоначально в границах Новосибирской, а после 26 января 1943 года – в границах новообразованной Кемеровской области. Анализируются статьи расходов и доходов бюджета Кузбасса, выявляются проблемы, с которыми столкнулись областной исполнительный комитет и областной финансовый отдел при реализации бюджетной политики в период боевых действий.

Using the resources of the Saratov region for the recruitment of the Army and Navy during the Great Patriotic War

The article presents a general picture of the involvement of human contingents from the Saratov region to recruit the Armed Forces of the USSR on the eve and during the Great Patriotic War. The article highlights in detail the conduct of three waves of the so-called general mobilization of the military in 1941, subsequent party-komsomol and other special mobilizations, as well as the regular conscription of recruits in 1942–1945. The role of the training of military-trained reserves through Vsevobuch, the people’s militia and defense organizations is shown.

Institutions of military captivity on Vladimir land in 1940–1949

The article analyzesthe activities ofthe Suzdal, Vladimir and Kirzhach prison camps ofthe Directorate for Prisoners of War and Internees (UPVI) – the Main Directorate for Prisoners of War and Internees (GUPVI) of the People’s Commissariat of Internal Affairs (NKVD) of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), special hospital No. 2989 and separate working battalions No. 340 and 413 of the Ministry of the Armed Forces (MVS) of the USSR, operating on Vladimir land in 1940–1949. The categories and national composition of prisoners of war are traced.
